Do locums have to pay to use the platform?
No, locums don’t pay anything to use Ronda. The platform is completely free for locums, with no registration fees, subscription costs, or hidden charges.
Do I need to stop working with my current agencies?
Not at all. Ronda is designed to complement your existing arrangements. There's no exclusivity requirement, so you can use Ronda alongside agency work to find the best mix of opportunities.
What geographic areas does Ronda cover?
We're initially launching in England to ensure a high density of locums in our coverage area. We plan to expand nationwide based on user demand and growth.
How do I build my reputation if I'm new to locuming?
Everyone starts with a clean slate. New locums can quickly build their reputation by providing excellent service to their first few practices. The sooner you start booking shifts through the platform, the sooner you'll begin collecting positive reviews and the stronger your competitive edge will be compared to other locums.
What happens if a practice or locum cancels a booking?
If a practice cancels a confirmed shift, you will be notified immediately. We monitor cancellation patterns, and repeat last minute cancellations may affect a practice’s visibility and reputation on the platform.
How do payments work?
After your placement is completed, you send your invoice directly to the practice via email. Payment is handled outside of the platform.
How does Ronda verify me?
During onboarding, we verify your RCVS registration, photo ID, and right to work in the UK if you're a non-UK national.
