It's one of those colors that's a business friendly blue, but has a lot of character when you look at bit closer. It's a happy, optimistic, bright blue that reminds of looking at a clear blue sky from a high altitude. It has medium shading and a fast dry time, about 15 seconds. (Personal Bias Alert: this was one of the first full bottles of fountain pen ink I purchased, so I
