A (Real) German Defeat Size:S: 40 x 30cm 9th August 1951'A (Real) German Defeat', 1870. This cartoon shows the Princess Louise and her betrothed, the Lord of Lorn (John Campbell). For the first time, a Royal Princess was being permitted to marry a subject rather than a member of one of the European royal families.
