Last Mountain Release #1 - Three Wood Rye Alberta Exclusive Butterscotch shines through while playingUsing the finest grain in the world, Last Mountain Distillery (LMD) crafts their whisky in small batches. Mashes are 2400 litres and are distilled in a 1200 litre hybrid still making each expression unique. The Three Wood Rye is a seven year Rye grain whisky which begins in new oak barrels. It is then transferred to a gently used American White Oak barrel that had previously held another LMD Rye. It finishes the process in a first fill Bourbon barrel.
