Georgian Rose Cut Diamond Day & Night Earrings etruscan revival A fine Victorian buckle ringDATE: Georgian, c. 1780 An incredible pair of 18th Century diamond drop earrings dating from circa 1780. They comprise three seperate articulated parts, the bottom two can be removed making them day to evening to night Each one is set with twenty nine rose cut diamonds, in the cut down settings typical of the period fashioned in silver with gold backs and wires. An exceptional piece, that has survived through the ages in remarkably good condition.
