The back plate behind the mirror which holds the lightbulbs unscrews to allow access to change the bulbs behind. When lit the whole frame glows and sheds a wonderful warm light. The mirror is in very good vintage condition. There are 4 lamp sockets for 25W E14 light bulbs. Perfect for most rooms of the house to add a little glamour. Mirror diameter is 42 cms
