Id sit in the goat shed every night after work, pour a glass of wine, light a Sage Candle to clear my mind, and write, write, write. Once the book was almost finished (500 pages in!) I wrote the chapter named Stop and Smell the Sage, which is accompanied by the brilliant interview of Terry Tempest Williams (who also discusses Sage). We wanted to include it because Sage is fundamental to the story of Flamingo. It
