This is something I have never seen before its a guide roller but its fixed and has two wires running to it to two metal rods the purpose of which I am uncertain perhaps to sense a magnetic strip for reverse as ths was a bidirectional machine

but maybe someone has even worse than these in that case they are useful these are 8 way other bigger listed on its own
