Tom Mix, American film actor mb-width 1712 Henry Fitzailwin the first LordTom Mix, American film actor, 1933. Mix (1880 1940) was the star of many early Western films. He made a reported 336 features between 1910 and 1935, all but 9 of them silent. In the process he became Hollywood's first big Western superstar.
