I spotted a pair of brown hares displaying their energetic behaviour by boxing, whilst out on a walk in the fields near the coast in Clevedon. It was such a beautiful spring spectacle that I was inspired to paint the pair of hares to remind me of the glory of Spring and wonder of nature. This painting is enchanting and enriches any decor! The sumptuous colours of the boxing hares stand out
