Eerie & Sad Post Mortem Daguerreotype / Hidden Figure? Solarized occupational Original 1/6 daguerreotype of aSixth plate daguerreotype of a little boy surrounded by solarized white bedding, giving the image a bit of an ethereal or even eerie effect. The photographer chose a smaller window mat for this dag which I find interesting.. often this was done to hide another person who was in the shot. It has been resealed with archival tape at some point, which was how I received it so I have never seen what is underneath the mat. Some of the original seals are
