It has a case and a base made of walnut, and it has two pieces of artwork that are affixed to the front of the piece. The doors open to offer lots of storage. The art on the right hand side of the cabinet depicts a Japanese woman wearing a kimono with a pattern of waterwheels in waves, executed by artist Kaigetsud Dohan.
