The spirit was sourced from Midwest Grain Products in Indiana with a mashbill consisting of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. After aging for four years, the whiskey was finished in proprietary, American oak barrels that were cold smoked with tobacco leaves from Kentucky which mellows out the rye spiciness.
