Used on the Teac 85-16 reel to reel recorder and maybe some later versions

Brake solenoid used in the 80-8 and probably in some other models though they seem to change the part numbers each time

This the locking ring/nut under the varispeed button that you have to remove with small long nose pliers or you cannot get the front panel off

On old units they glass up or worse turn into a really gooey sticky mess( thats maybe what  I will sell you as I am selling just the centre metal part here)
