Batik Cowbone Beads, Kenya pink tourmaline Vintage 1930s glassA classic, these handmade batiked bone beads are made in Kenya, and are a very traditional bead with a wood insert to block an enormous hole. Some inserts are easily removed if so desired, and some fall to and can be reassembled. This striped version is a wonderful black and white bead. 40 beads per strand, average 22mm diameter x 13mm tall. Hole in wooden insert is about 3mm, so thick leather works well. 24 inch strand.
