Crusted is a blend of full bodied wines that have been aged for 4 years in barrels and then 3 years in bottle. A layer of sediment forms in the bottle (Crust), as a natural process of the aging of the finest full bodied port wines. The blend is made from the finest wines from the Cima Corgo area of Douro.
