It has a wide brim and an unusual asymmetric crown that lends itself to wearing the hat at a jaunty angle. A wide black Petersham ribbon decorates the crown and inside, there is a thinner hat band with the makers label for Modes Valdeiron of Toulouse. As the hat perches on the wearers head, it is suitable for a variety of head sizes. The hat is in very good condition
