The dress was cut in the classic hourglass silhouette of the period with padded shoulders and a nipped waist. A buttoned down bow detail adorns the neckline and the buttons continue down the front of the bodice and onto the attached fabric belt. A large inverted pleat at the centre of the skirt gives wonderful volume and turn up cuffs
