Parts of the edges of the pattern are highlighted with different colored beads and also rows of pink sequins

The workmanship is extraordinary - it really and truly is a couture level piece and I would not be surprised to learn that some aficionado spots it for what it really is and it turns out to be a rare Chanel or Lavin or something on that level

This was probably made by Chinese artisans for the Western market and is an incredible example of the work being done during this period. I have seen a few of these older pieces but this one is especially special as it is all done by hand. It has the classic lines of a Cheongsam and is made out of a fine pink silk. It wraps and closes with frog
